South Korean superstar Heung Min Son has informed Premier League club Tottenham his desire to find pastures anew, brining an end to a decade-long spell with the London outfit.
Son helmed the Spurs side that ended a 17-year trophy drought as the Londoners got the better of fellow PL side Mancheter United in the final of the UEFA Europa League in the 2024/25 season.

“I have asked to leave Spurs,” the 33-year-old said.
“My decision has been made, I did my best here and I need a fresh challenge now,” the Korean elaborated.
“I came to north London as a kid. A boy who couldn’t speak English. I leave this club as a young man,” he said reflecting on his journey with the English Capital City side.
“Thanks to all the Spurs fans who have given me so much love,” he added.

Son, who began his senior career with German outfit Hamburger SV before making the move to Bayer Leverkusen in 2013, where he plied his trade for a couple of seasons before Spurs came calling.
Son joined the London-based side in the year 2015 and has gone on to represent the side in 333 PL outings netting 127 times and setting his teammates up 77 times. He also has 55 UEFA Champions League appearances, in which he found the back of the net 15 times for his club.
Son, one of the most influential Asian sportsmen is widely appreciated for his nature as a human being as for his incredible abilities on the ball.
MLS side LAFC have expressed interest in enlisting the services of the crafty forward, who has stamped his authority with every side he has played with.
